Director of Strategy and Market Development
Nina Hjorth was appointed as Strategy Manager for Ballard in Europe in 2015. Mrs. Hjorth heads strategy and market development for Ballard in Europe and has many years of experience in bringing clean technology products & solutions to the markets at an international level.
Mrs. Hjorth joined Ballard’s Business Development team in Europe in 2012 focusing on developing and coordinating international R&D & demonstration partnerships & projects. Prior to joining Ballard, Mrs. Hjorth worked for Falck A/S in Denmark where she worked closely with large bus & truck fleet operators on implementing eco-drive and telematics solutions throughout Scandinavia.
Mrs. Hjorth holds a degree in International Business Communication & Marketing from Aalborg University (Denmark) and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from ESADE Business and Law School (Spain).
